7 Rain Jewellery sells jewellery in 24K gold, the purest gold there is. Pieces are available ready-made in the Gold Souk, Deira, Dubai, and our own workshop makes 24K jewellery to order.
What 24K means
Karat measures purity in twenty-fourths. 24K is 24 parts out of 24: pure gold, stamped 999 or 999.9. It has the deepest yellow colour of any gold, and it holds the most gold per gram.
| Karat | Gold content | Stamp | Hardness |
|---|---|---|---|
| 24K | 99.9% | 999 | Softest |
| 22K | 91.6% | 916 | Harder |
| 21K | 87.5% | 875 | Harder still |
| 18K | 75.0% | 750 | Hardest of the four |
Ready-made or made to order
- Ready-made: 24K pieces in stock. Ask on WhatsApp for photos and weights of what is available today.
- Made to order: our manufacturing workshop in Al Ras, Deira, makes 24K jewellery from your photo or design. We confirm the weight, the price and the making time before you order.
Wearing 24K gold
Pure gold is soft. A 24K piece marks and bends more easily than the same piece in 21K or 22K, so it suits jewellery that is worn with care and designs with enough thickness to keep their shape. If you want a piece for every day, our 21K gold guide explains the harder karats.
How the price is worked out
The weight in grams multiplied by the day's 24K rate, plus the making charge, plus 5% UAE VAT, each written out separately. See our price guide. For 24K gold as bars and coins, see gold bars and coins.
Where to buy
